Activity:
Human autoantibody against whole histones. Single donor human plasma is delipidized and defibrinated, then the immunoglobulin fraction is precipitated and collected. Antibody concentration is adjusted for consistent lot to lot titer.
Specificity:
Human autoantibody against whole histones, buffered with 0.01M phosphate, 0.13 M NaCl, 0.02% NaN3. Shows anti-histone activity when tested by ELISA techniques using purified histones. Any reactivity with other autoantigens is indicated on the Certificate of Analysis.
